The big bad beast of this cruiser-trio, the Suzuki C109R gives the rumbling impression of an earthquake after shock. Polished chrome offers up a bear hug to the powerful 1800cc engine, putting out 114HP at 5800RPM and 116FT-LBS at 3200RPM. You might as well put a truck tire on the back of this beast, as it sits on a 240/40 R18. WOW, what a way to ride! The C109 is also sold in Europe under the title ‘Intruder’; it has borrowed a few of its features from other Suzuki lines. The engine was adapted from the M109R, a big cruiser bike introduced in 2005 that has gotten some notable media attention. The trade-offs for this bike were a battle between airbox capacity and fuel capacity. A solution was found in a three-part intake track. One on top of the engine and two more triangle shaped boxes on the sides. This gives the bike 11 liters of airbox capacity allowing for more power on the low end and losing a little on the top end.
A few more aftermarket accessories were added to this powerful V-twin. All the lamp lighting has been swapped out to the more efficient LED’s. Keeping with its stocky posture and aggressive styling, it’s been accented with a set of eerie Kuryakyn skeleton hand mirrors, as well as Kuryakyn peg shifters. In keeping with the theme, a foot skull brake pedal has been added too. For easy handling comfort and responsive good looks, this road king greets the hands with a set of Kuryakyn Premium IOS grips with throttle boss. To help compete with the exhaust’s rumble, it now has an Tsukayu Fairing with mp3 and radio set up with a 300-watt speaker system and Tsukayu lockable jumbo hard bags . This can be an experience for your ears only, or you can entertain the entire highway to the refreshing blast of AC/Dc’s Highway to Hell! And the finishing touch is the custom skull radiator cover that can be seen from the far away..

My third and last Suzuki cruiser the 2008 Suzuki C109R that I bought used in 2013.
